Preventing the Circle of Poison: Clean Energy Day, Tunxis Community College, Nov. 16

PREVENTING THE CIRCLE OF POISON:CLEAN ENERGY DAY is an important event documenting the suffering of Native Americans who are exposed to uranium from mining operations for our nuclear energy. Find out what you can do to help!

At 10 a.m. Nov. 16 panelists will include victims of the Chernobyl nuclear accident and also Navaho people who are victims of uranium poisoning. Speakers will discuss ways to change one’s home and office so that less energy is used as well as the use of energy technologies that avoid the use of uranium and reduce the need for fossil fuels.
