Food and Faith II takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday January 17, 2011 at the Unitarian Universalist in New Haven.
Help is needed in a few areas.
Can you bring a tray of cookies? Some of you who work with food may want to offer one dish of something (maybe something homegrown!) Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to “co-cater”
Can your organization of congregation “sponsor”? This is not a financial obligation. I am planning to have an impressive list of organizations listed on our poster. So far we have Massaro Farm and New Haven Bio-Regional group. Since we are relatively new to New Haven – we want these good folks to be identified with us in our promotion.
Needed: Organizations that can take electronic registration!
Does your organization have the capacity to take credit card payment and on line registration? This would be a tremendous boom to our registration. Please advise ASAP. Thank you!
Our 4 terrific speakers are:
- Jen Kilps from Urban Oaks (urban farming) in New Britain
- TBA from Isabella Freedman agricultural education and food producers in Falls Village. CT
- Martha Page, Director Hartford Food Systems (brilliant and big picture person)
- Monique Bosch – community gardening legend in Westport.
We plan to use our successful format of panel, breakout groups, dinner and summary.
Thanks for your responses to our requests and updates!
