WHO preparing for the possibility of ‘major humanitarian crisis’ in Libya | ReliefWeb

1. The crisis in Libya shows no signs of abating. The United Nations estimates that more than 2000 people have died so far. Around 120 000 people have fled to the neighbouring countries of Egypt and Tunisia.

2. WHO is preparing for the possibility of a major humanitarian crisis, and has placed staff in different WHO regions on standby for rapid deployment.
