–>You can register Online or by printing a PDF registration form to mail in with a check. All registered attendees will receive “a frameable souvenir broadside” featuring a Howard Zinn quotation printed on handmade Combat Paper.
–>A limited number of discounts for full convention registration are available to veteran members who are current in their national dues. Please contact Shelly by email or call 314-725-6005 to register for the discounted rate.
–>Not able to afford hotel or dorm room costs? Alternate homestay housing is available Contact Jenika by email or by phone (503) 232-1322. Be sure to include both your email and phone contact information in your communication.
–>And speaking of convention finances, please keep in mind that we strongly encourage chapters to assist members who need it. A VFP member who was unable to attend this year’s convention offered $100 to assist someone else who wouldn’t be able to attend. If you would like to make a personal donation to assist someone that wouldn’t be able to attend contact Shelly by email or by phone 314-725-6005.
–> A 25 passenger bus will be available to transport members and their guests to and from the Saturday night banquet @ The Tiffany Center. The bus will loop around The University Place Hotel & Broadway dorms to The Tiffany Center before and after the banquet.
–> Want to be a part of the VFP Speaker’s Bureau? Auditions will be held on Friday, Aug 5, 12:15 – 2:00 PM. Each speaker will be given 5 minutes to expound on an appropriate VFP subject of his/her choice. Please contact Bill Collins or call (203) 846-1109 to schedule an audition.
