Sudan: U.S. Urges Nation, South Sudan to Fulfill Peace Agreement | allAfrica.com

President Obama’s top envoy for Sudan urged the governments of Sudan and newly independent South Sudan to “rekindle the spirit of cooperation” to resolve the outstanding issues that stand in the way of their fulfilling the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan Princeton Lyman also called for an interim agreement by the end of July on the sharing of oil revenues if a final agreement is not reached.
