Hague: ‘US must make Middle East peace a priority’ | Telegraph

Speaking on the day of the Israel election, the Foreign Secretary told MPs the creation of illegal settlements by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories reduced the possibility of restoring two states based on the 1967 borders.

“I hope that whatever Israeli government emerges … that it will recognise that we are approaching the last chance to bring about such a solution,” Hague told parliament.
