The editorial board of The New York Times agrees, “The treaty is unquestionably needed.”

They add that “Contrary to the National Rifle Association’s insidious claims, the treaty would not control the domestic use of weapons in any country or threaten Second Amendment rights.”

And… ” The international community must seize this opportunity to approve the toughest possible agreement.”
