The Bethlehem Children’s School took part Monday in an international art and literacy project, Pinwheels for Peace, by “planting” pinwheels with messages of peace.
There was a Pinwheels for Peace event in front of Bethlehem Children’s School in Slingerlands, N.Y. The event helped to mark the International Day of Peace, which was officially on Saturday, Sept. 21. Messages of peace and love were written on the pinwheels. Poetry was also read during a short ceremony.
