Anti-War Vigil 3:30-4:30 p.m. Nov. 21, New Haven

Join others to demand alternatives to war.

This Friday is the third of the month. Let’s give passersby something to cheer, honk, about.

Friday Nov. 21
3:30 to 4:30 PM
Corner Elm & Orange
New Haven

  • While the immigrant bashers in Congress threaten the President to bow and scrape…
  • While the Republican Congress try to erase the authority of the executive branch of government…
  • While most of the actors in the US Senate ignore that oil independence does nothing to stop scorching the planet…
  • While Putin bashing hides the fact that the U.S. and NATO are surrounding Russia with bases, building a first-strike nuclear capability and on the centennial of World War I are encouraging a vicious conflagration in Ukraine that won’t be confined to Ukraine…
  • U.S. and Israeli policies of exterminating the Palestinian population have created an explosive growth of violence.
  • The renewed U.S./NATO war on Iraq and bombing of Syria expands as President Obama asks to bulge the incredibly bloated Pentagon budget with another $5 Billion. Yet the media and the government avoid any analysis of alternatives, or of consequences.

These policies lead nowhere good.
Overthrowing democratically-elected governments leads nowhere good.
Wars for oil and dominance lead nowhere good.

Give passersby something to cheer, honk, about.

MONEY FOR JOBS, NOT FOR WAR!
MONEY FOR HUMAN NEEDS, NOT FOR WAR!
MONEY FOR SOLAR, NOT FOR OIL GIANTS!
