An excellent film series on State sponsored violence continues Aug 15 in New Haven

An excellent film series on State sponsored violence continues with a documentary on “depleted,” that is radioactive and toxic uranium splayed over the populations of Serbia and Iraq this coming Saturday, Aug. 15. at Mitchell Library in Westville.

Then on Aug. 22 (note change of libraries) at Stetson Library on Dixwell another powerful documentary describing how the Military Industrial Complex drives and profits handsomely from wars.

Finally on Aug. 29, a study of state-sponsored violence visited on our own population at home, primarily people of color. Black Lives Matter to us, but does the state care? Or does the state have its own reasons for targeting Black Lives?
