2017 AAAS Annual Meeting Feb. 16. Pro-science rally planned.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting brings together thousands of leading scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and journalists from around the world to discuss recent developments in science and technology. The meeting is the largest and most widely recognized global science gathering with exciting scientific sessions, renowned speakers, and valuable networking opportunities.

The 2017 meeting theme—Serving Society Through Science Policy—focuses on how to inform policies with the best available scientific evidence. Browse the online meeting program and join us in Boston to learn about science and technology addressing current and future policy challenges.

A rally is being organized in Boston for Saturday Feb. 19 at noon at the Copley Plaza, co-sponsored by ClimateTruth.org Action, The Natural History Museum, Union of Concerned Scientists, 500 Women Scientists, 350 Mass for a Better Future, Alliance for Climate Education, and Greenpeace USA, to show support for science and to build on the momentum of other pro-science efforts since the election.

A worldwide March for Science is also being planned for April 22:  https://www.marchforscience.com.
