Protest against the annexation plan and occupation of Palestine at 4 p.m. Friday, July 10, Capitol Building, Hartford, CT

A note from Tree of Life,

Please see this note by our allies at the University of Connecticut chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

We hope you’ll be able to join the protest on Friday – I’ll be one of the speakers at the rally!

In solidarity,

Ghoufran Allababidi, Tree of Life President

Hello friends and allies,

We hope you and your families are all staying healthy and safe during these uncertain times. We are emailing you today with an action item for this upcoming week.

As many of you are aware, Israel indefinitely planned to illegally annex parts of Palestine- mainly the West Bank-beginning on July 1st. This action will subsequently displace over 300,000 Palestinians from their homes, disgrace ancestral land, and further diminish the rights and power of the Palestinian people. We are calling on all allies to join us this coming Friday, July 10th, at the Capitol building in Hartford, CT at 4:00 p.m., in order to protest against the annexation plan and occupation of Palestine. We cannot stand idly while Israel continues to strip the Palestinian people of their land and basic human rights.

Please join us this Friday, and share the flier attached to this email. We hope to see you all there!

Best,
Uconn Students for Justice in Palestine
